MMoCA’s Virtual Art Fair on the Square

The Madison Museum of Contemporary Art’s biggest fundraiser went virtual in 2020 due to the pandemic. We did an illustration, with assistance from MMoCA design intern Hannah Kang, of the Madison capital square and used it to create a full suite of materials to encourage people to donate, join the event online for live performances, and buy artwork online. Although we didn’t get nearly as many visitors online as during the live event, it still allowed the museum to connect with their supporters, and helped the artists sell some work during a challenging year.
